Green Energy

There are many types of green energy that are being researched and developed right now. Solar power is the most popular of them, but it is by no means the only one. Wind turbines, geothermal plants, and tidal power are all viable sources of renewable energy.

Wind turbines are driven by wind, and the spinning of the turbine creates electricity. The sun’s light can be collected and converted into energy by solar panels. Both of these methods do not produce pollution, and use a renewable and free resource.

Most other types of green energy, such as tidal power and geothermal power, have not been developed as much as solar and wind. But there is definitely promise for these alternative energy options. There is a lot of debate as to whether nuclear energy is “green” or not as well.
