Alliance with Sumitomo Corporation of Japan

Sumitomo Corporation of Japan and TC+ES launched a strategic alliance to provide climate related services in Japan and the Asian market in 2002.

Describing the investment and strategic alliance, Mr. Michio Ogimura, a member of Sumitomo's board of directors, said, "we believe that climate change is one of the most important issues that the international business community will face for many years to come. Together, Sumitomo and TC+ES offer private-sector companies and public-sector agencies in Japan and Asia a full suite of climate change mitigation services including: strategic planning; risk assessment and management; greenhouse gas (GHG) market forecasting; GHG market entry; and GHG project and portfolio development and implementation.
